Dear God,
We come to you today seeking peace. Peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, peace in our communities, and peace in the world. We know that with your help, all things are possible, and we trust in your infinite wisdom and love.
We ask that you would give us the strength to let go of anger and resentment, and the grace to forgive those who have wronged us. We pray for the wisdom to see the beauty in diversity and to respect the unique and inherent worth of every person.
We ask that you would bring an end to violence and conflict, and that you would give those in positions of power the courage to seek peace through diplomacy and dialogue rather than war.
We know that true and lasting peace can only come through you, and so we put our trust in you. Guide us on our journey as we strive to become agents of peace in a world that so desperately needs it.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
